When it comes to bathroom remodeling, it is important to ensure that your design is both attractive and unique. There are different bathroom remodeling ideas, and choosing the right one may not be easy for you.  If you are planning to remodel your bathroom, you’ll soon be faced with the challenge of creating a design that blends both the mirror, vanity and lighting all seamlessly. Doing so will give you an outstanding bathroom.

Mirrors

Bathroom mirrors play essential roles in making your bathroom not only functional but attractive. Your bathroom mirror also reflects light creating an illusion that makes it appear larger than its actual size. For single sink vanities, some say your mirror should be the same width as your vanity or several inched shorter. You never want to mirror to over power the overall design of your bathroom. The best mirror for this vanity size would be a frameless rectangular wall mirror.

For double sink vanities you’ll want to go with two individual mirrors. this could be two angle beveled wall mirrors or two framed oval mirrors. With framed mirrors or medicine cabinets you have the option of adding a touch of backlight behind the frame. Most people go with an LED tone to brighten their view while getting ready in the morning.

Vanities

The vanity, while responsible for holding all of your toiletries also needs to blend with your bathrooms overall design.

Paring bathroom mirrors and vanities gives your bathroom unique and outstanding features. A floating vanity with two sinks will best compliment two framed mirrors. A pedestal sink and free standing vanity will also match a single framed mirror or medicine cabinet. A vanity cabinet fits well with a rectangular beveled edge mirror.

Creating a bathroom design with a vanity, mirror and sinks that all compliment each other is like second nature to our designers. Its important not to fall for momentary bathroom trends. Get in touch with our designers to chat about the next steps for your bathroom remodel.
