Community Involvement

Since the early 2000s, our team has proudly partnered with the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties to build access ramps for neighbors in need. With materials donated by Dunn Lumber and the entire CRD team pitching in—from the office to the field—we spend the day building a ramp and offering light yard maintenance to help make homes more accessible. It’s one of our favorite ways to work together and make a tangible difference.

In partnership with the Seattle YMCA, we’ve been spreading holiday cheer since 2022 by supporting local families with gift-giving. Every year, CRD employees donate gifts and gather for a company-wide wrapping party where team members from every department lend a hand. It’s a joy-filled tradition that brings over 100 wrapped gifts to families who might not otherwise have them under the tree.

Each fall, as Thanksgiving approaches, our office hosts a food drive to benefit the University District Food Bank. In addition, our team volunteers monthly at the Wallingford Food Bank, helping to ensure local families have consistent access to nutritious food throughout the year.

Our support for the Seattle Humane Society helps feed and care for animals in need. Through seasonal donation drives, we collect pet food, toys, and supplies that benefit the shelter’s programs and foster network. It’s a small gesture that helps keep tails wagging and hearts full.
