Owner | CEOMeet Teri, a member of the CRD team since 2010, and now CRD’s owner and CEO. In addition to managing CRD’s business operations and staff, she is usually the first point of contact for prospective new clients. “I love working with people and helping them be successful in the field of work they enjoy,” she says. “I have this ability to see the big picture and break large problems down into pieces that are solvable.”
Teri credits her husband for sparking her interest in the building industry. “My husband has been in construction since we have been together, which, by the way, has been forever,” she says. “I love how the remodeling industry can transform how a person lives in their home.”
When not crunching numbers or leading team meetings, Teri loves putting memories together in scrapbooks and putting crazy gifts together for groups of people.

Client Services ManagerMeet Leslie, CRD’s Client Services Manager. She has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in interior design and has worked in residential architectural design, turn-key interiors, and custom home remodeling-building since 2010. “I love the creative process: uncovering the issue or challenge and then getting down to business finding solutions,” she says. “Design is truly a fluid process, and you never can predict just where it will take you.”
She advises homeowners working with a design professional to trust in the process. “Whether you just decided to remodel yesterday or you have been researching for years, keep an open mind. It can be a challenge to wrap your brain around something you haven’t imagined yet, but you’ve hired a designer for a reason. Let them do their thing!”

Her recommendation to homeowners is to “hold on to the joy and excitement you feel at the start of your project, bottle it up, and keep visiting it throughout the whole remodel journey.”
On the weekends, she loves to relax around a fire and smoke a cigar.

Interior DesignerMeet April Dishno, one of CRD’s talented interior designers. “My favorite part of design is the impact it can have on a person and their life,” she says. “We transform spaces you see every single day, which has a lasting impact on your quality of life.”
April’s passion for design started at 16 when her mom gave her free reign to remodel their bathroom on a limited budget. That experience sparked her love for finding creative solutions for any space. She pursued her passion for design by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design.
Her advice to homeowners? “Inspiration can come from anything. Embrace the unique qualities of your home, life, and personality to create the perfect space for you.”

Michael Thompson
ArchitectMeet Michael, a member of the CRD team since 2025. Michael has always been drawn to the art of creating and arranging space, a passion that naturally led him into the world of architectural design. What he enjoys most about the process is the challenge of blending a client’s needs and wants into a cohesive, functional design that feels just right. With a background in architecture and hands-on experience remodeling his own home, Michael brings both creativity and practicality to every project.
Michael’s advice to homeowners starting a remodel? “Find a few inspiration images that really set the tone—and then stay flexible. Things might shift slightly, but that’s all part of the process.”
Before joining the design world full time, he took on a surprising role at a local gas company during college and later worked in a high-end architectural metal fabrication shop in Seattle. There, he developed shop drawings and coordinated installations—experiences that sharpened his eye for detail and materials, even if he never quite picked up welding (a small regret he still holds).

He advises homeowners embarking on a remodel to be patient, as we don’t always know “what’s behind door number one.”

Ian has experience in many different trades in his career and has learned to value open communication with clients to keep jobs running smoothly.

To get to see those humble logs turned into homes that were works of art was very gratifying,” he says.

Starting as a framer at 16, he quickly rose through the ranks to own and operate his own company for over 15 years before joining CRD Design Build.
Rob’s advice for homeowners about to start a remodel? “Don’t panic—if something’s unclear, always ask us questions. It’s easier for us to take the time to explain than for you to worry.”
