Ballard Kitchen
Fresh Inspiration
Our Ballard clients wanted to open their kitchen to the living room and incorporate a work space the whole family could use. Step one was to remove a space-hogging fireplace, chimney, and office desk that dominated the old kitchen and entry area. We designed a peninsula that multi-tasks as food prep area, breakfast bar, and homework zone.
A built-in desk features a cork board, computer storage, bookshelves, and a drop-zone drawer for each family member. Featuring painted cabinets, open shelves, and white geometric tile, the finishes reflect our clients’ taste for bright, airy space. Corner windows let the light stream in and open up a fresh new view of the flowering trees in the yard. A refreshed mudroom is the perfect pathway to this inspiring new space.

“The team at CRD made this process, from start to finish, as painless as possible. Now we have the kitchen we have always wanted and it has transformed the way we live in our home. Whether it was design help or carpentry updates, they were communicative, responsive, clear, on schedule and within budget. I highly recommend CRD!”
