Function & Aesthetics

Our clients wanted their home to have a fresh new look that meshed with the needs of their busy family. With a few tweaks to the existing kitchen layout, we maximized counter and cabinet space, adding deep pantry and breakfast nook cabinets, with built-in power and small appliance storage. A mix of matte white and custom-made Fireclay tiles brighten up the kitchen, as does a new full-light exterior door. The hard-working honed quartz counter tops were installed a bit higher to be ergonomically correct for our clients, who are on the taller side.

The living and bathroom spaces were redesigned from bottom to top. A basement guest bedroom was reconfigured into two children's bedrooms and a full bath. A finished laundry room, a music room, and new egress windows were also added downstairs. Upstairs, the master bath design was streamlined to carve out much-needed closet space in the master bedroom. With all-new interior doors and fresh paint throughout, the house feels new and reflects our clients' excellent taste in finishes and appreciation of functional design.
