Madison Park Kitchen Refresh

Portfolio

A streamlined kitchen refresh, bringing new life & functionality to this historic home.

Our Madison Park kitchen project proves that you don’t always need a full gut remodel to achieve a your goals. By focusing on high-quality finishes and targeted repairs, we breathed new life into this already very functional, family home.

Project Goals:

  • Brighten the kitchen and modernize existing materials.
  • Repair and refresh cabinetry with professional painting.
  • Replace outdated countertops and backsplash with durable quartz.
  • Create a cohesive look across the kitchen, pantry, and mudroom.

The Challenge:

While the layout of this Madison Park home was already functional, the finishes were showing their age. The cabinets had some wear and tear, including a damaged section, and the original ornate trim was feeling a bit “too much”. The homeowner wanted a fresh, contemporary aesthetic that maximized their budget without the stress of a total remodel.

The Solution:

We took a strategic approach to this “refresh.” First, we addressed the structural integrity of the cabinetry by replacing a damaged section and removing select parts of the ornate trim for a cleaner profile. All cabinets in the kitchen, pantry, and mudroom were then professionally painted to create a bright, unified flow. To finish the look, we installed stunning natural stone-look quartz countertops and a new backsplash, providing a durable and sophisticated surface for cooking and family activities.
